hello!

my name is Amy

flower farmer-florist, business owner, and mom

Welcome to my little flower farm! Established in 2020 and nestled in the Columbia River Plateau of southeastern Washington, my farm is a labor of love. While juggling my own management consulting business and the joys of raising my daughter, I have also dedicated myself to cultivating a wide range of seasonal specialty cut flowers. From the delicate allure of peony tulips in the springtime, to the captivating splendor of dinnerplate dahlias as autumn unfolds, my farm is a testament to my passion for growing and sharing the beauty and magic of flowers. Join me on this blossoming journey and let nature’s wonders brighten your day.

My story

From the Earth to the Soul

How Cultivating Flowers Can Heal and Inspire,
and Spreading Kindness with Bouquets Can Change Lives

First of all, let me start by saying that I’m no master gardener…yet. My love for working with the earth has been ingrained in me since childhood, but it wasn’t until much later in life that I truly discovered the profound healing power of flowers. Throughout the trials of the pandemic and significant life transitions, I sought solace in the great outdoors, and it was during this time that my passion for flowers began to bloom.

It all started with a simple fascination—the stunning beauty of flowers flooding my Instagram feed from the incredible growers I followed. Each delicate petal seemed to hold a world of enchantment, and the idea of cultivating that beauty and magic in my own garden ignited a fire within me. The heaviness in my heart began to lift as I envisioned a space where I could nurture these captivating blooms.

Driven by this newfound excitement, I took the plunge into growing small batches of flowers that caught my fancy. As they bloomed, I couldn’t contain my joy and started sharing them with others. It began with a single bouquet, lovingly crafted to surprise my neighbor. Witnessing the sheer delight she felt through this unexpected act of kindness filled my cup to the brim, igniting a desire to share this experience on a larger scale.

And so, my journey truly began. Late nights were spent immersed in researching new flowers, designing intricate garden beds, creating planting schedules, and curating flower databases. Today, on our family’s four acres of land, you’ll find five different gardens in progress. My daughter and I have made a cozy home across the property from my mom, and it’s not uncommon to see all three of us passionately tending to the gardens on any given day.

This endeavor requires an incredible amount of hard work, lessons learned along the way, and unwavering determination. Yet, I am grateful for every single moment of this beautiful journey. It has transformed not only the landscape but also my own spirit. Working among the flowers has become a source of endless inspiration and fulfillment.
